Monday, August 30th

It was a crazy day at school. Between student pictures and lockers, classes didn't start until after 10:30. 1st Hour was only about 10 minutes long. 2nd Hour was only about 20 minutes long. After that, the classes were 40 minutes long.

For the most part, all that was done today was discussing class procedures. 3rd and 5th hours received their disclosure statements.

If you would like to print up a disclosure statement, feel free to do it and have your student return it tomorrow.

Earth/Moon from Space

Near the center of this image, the Earth can be seen, as well as the much smaller Moon to Earth's right. When MESSENGER took this image, a distance of 183 million kilometers (114 million miles) separated the spacecraft and Earth. To provide context for this distance, the average separation between the Earth and the Sun is about 150 million kilometers (93 million miles).
